KAIKEYI – THE MOTHER OF A GOD
" In most versions of Ramkathas, Kaikeyi is as pivotal as she is notorious. Because of the two boons she asked King Dashrath, she remains one of the most reviled characters in the epic. The scholars of Ramkatha agree that Kaikeyi was an extraordinary warrior of the times. But it is rarely discussed that it was Kaikey who helped establish Rama as the incarnation of God. It was Kaikey who could be a warrior goddess at the battlefield, and a sharp political strategist in the palace, all for the cause of the nation. This story of Kaikeyi flips through the pages of Ramkatha that have hitherto been touched before." - Author- Suresh Kala"
